Having always been the sort of person that goes out and gets things rather than waiting for them to appear, I have been putting on concerts since I was 10 years old literally (my first was with my rock ‘n’ roll band The Satellite 5 in my home town of Colwyn Bay).
Since then, right through secondary school, my time at music college, university and abroad, and now – having come a long way since the 1980s – as a London-based composer, I have continued my ‘impresario’ activities and carried on organising concerts, hiring halls & musicians, doing all promotion, designing posters/flyers and doing PR campaigns – not to mention writing all the music and usually performing in/conducting them as well.
In recent years I have put on highly successful UK performances at:
The Purcell Room
The 1901 Arts Club
St. James Theatre (now known as ‘The Other Palace’)
Wilton’s Music Hall
and many others
If you are interested in appearing in one of my concerts as either a soloist, singer, chamber player, or ensemble, or just want to find out more about the work I offer, please send me links of yourself performing (audio or video) and your website/biog.
N.B. I perform only my own work so can’t accept programme ideas, nor offer any form of musical collaboration, I’m afraid.
I tend to work on a timescale of 9 months to a year out, depending on the size of the project and its type.
