In addition to composition I am a highly experienced and enthusiastic teacher of guitar, mandolin, lute, ukulele, music theory, counterpoint and orchestration, etc. from beginner up to diploma/degree level.
I can prepare students for ABRSM or the Trinity grade exams.
Over my three decades of teaching I have taught students from age 4 to those in their 70s.
Each student requires a slightly different approach according to how they learn naturally and I work with this to ensure each lesson is satisfying for them and keep up their enthusiasm.
I suggest a 30 minute lesson to start to see how it all works and then if the student is enjoying it I can then go up to 45 or 60 minutes as needed.
30 minutes: £25
45 minutes: £37
60 minutes: £50
Plus travel costs: £12 across London, less in southeast London, no travel expenses of course if you want to come and learn at my studio in North Bromley.
